Shop vintage and retro wall mirrors in teak, rattan and painted gilt, from Art Deco frames through to 1970s sunburst and arch designs. The rattan and cane mirrors have become very popular again and tend to be the first to go.

Prices start around £40 and reach £958, with most near £150, so a mirror is one of the easiest ways to bring something genuinely old into a room without a big outlay.

Original mirror plate often carries a little foxing, the soft grey speckling around the edges where the silvering has aged. We think that is part of the charm of an older piece, though we are happy to send close-up photos so you can judge for yourself. Every mirror is a one-off, sourced personally across the UK and Europe.
