Collection: Dining Tables

Shop original midcentury dining tables in teak, rosewood and mahogany, with plenty of draw-leaf and extending designs among them. That is the real joy of buying vintage: a table that seats four most days and opens up to eight when everyone comes over, without the bulk of a modern extending frame.

Ercol appears most often, along with Alfred Cox, Morris of Glasgow and Elliotts of Newbury. Prices run from around £185 to £3,500, and a typical table sits near £670.

Do sit at a table before you commit if you can, since midcentury designs often have a lower apron than modern ones and knee room varies. Every table is a one-off, sourced personally, so do ask if you would like more photos or the extension mechanism shown open.

Furniture delivery is £70 flat anywhere in the UK, with collection from West Yorkshire very welcome.
