Collection: Desks

Vintage and midcentury desks, from compact teak writing desks that fit a bedroom corner to full bureaux with a fall front and fitted interior. Most are British, and the ones worth waiting for tend to be the smaller ones: a 1960s desk was designed for a house, not an office, so it sits comfortably in a room you also live in.

Look out for G Plan, Morris of Glasgow, Abbess and the school desks, which turn up more often than you would expect and take a surprising amount of use. Roll-top and secretary desks come through occasionally and rarely stay long.

Every desk here is a one-off, sourced personally. Measurements matter more on a desk than on almost anything else, so do ask if the ones you need are not listed and we will measure it for you.
