A beautifully proportioned mid-20th century bookcase by Beaver and Tapley, designed by Richard Hornby.

This elegant piece combines refined modernist lines with excellent practicality, featuring glazed display storage above and enclosed cupboard space below.

 

The upper section is fitted with two glazed sliding doors, opening to two adjustable shelves, ideal for books, ceramics, or collectables. Beneath, two wooden sliding doors provide concealed storage. Raised on slender tapered legs, the cabinet has a light, architectural presence typical of British mid-century design.
