A wonderfully characterful 1950s solid wood umbrella and walking-stick stand, formed from a substantial section of timber and retaining the natural irregularities, knots and grain of the original wood.

The tall hollowed body has an organic sculptural quality, with a deep central opening and a particularly unusual handmade handle constructed from chunky uprights and a naturally shaped branch crosspiece. Tool marks, knots and grain variations remain visible throughout.
