A beautifully timeworn 19th century Welsh primitive stickback chair featuring a distinctive demi-lune (half-moon) seat and thick, curved crest rail. Crafted in solid oak, this piece displays honest hand-made character with visible grain, subtle tool marks and a rich, dark patina developed over time.

The simple stick back supports and sturdy turned legs give the chair a strong, sculptural presence while retaining its rustic charm. A wonderful example of Welsh vernacular furniture — functional, unfussy and full of soul.

Perfect as a hallway accent chair, occasional seat, or statement piece within a country, wabi-sabi or primitive interior.
