A striking Art Deco walnut sideboard by Talent, dating from the 1930s and featuring beautifully figured walnut veneers, rounded outer corners and a bold symmetrical façade.

The design is particularly strong, with twin cupboard doors arranged around a lighter contrasting central column and a sculptural pair of Bakelite handles stretching horizontally across the front. Chunky block feet and softly curved door edges give the piece a substantial, architectural presence typical of the period.

Internally, the sideboard offers generous storage with shelving to both sides and a shallow internal drawer, making it as practical as it is decorative.

A characterful original Art Deco piece with excellent proportions and strong visual impact.

Condition

Good vintage condition with visible age-related wear throughout.

There are surface marks, scratches, small areas of veneer wear and fading consistent with its age. The top in particular shows some variation and marking to the finish. The sideboard retains a strong overall appearance with particularly attractive grain across the doors.
