Avalon Teak Sideboard – Danish Influence Mid Century

A beautifully proportioned mid-century teak sideboard by Avalon, a British manufacturer well known for producing furniture with strong Danish design influence during the 1960s.

 

Crafted in warm golden teak veneer with excellent grain, the sideboard showcases the clean lines, minimal ornamentation and refined proportions associated with Scandinavian modernism. Avalon pieces are particularly admired for their high-quality cabinetmaking and attention to detail, which helped them compete with imported Danish furniture of the period.

 

The design features three upper drawers above three spacious cupboards, each fitted with elegant solid teak sculpted handles.
