This isn’t your polite little chest of drawers… this one walks into the room and owns it.

Chunky, confident, and unapologetically Art Deco, it’s all about those strong shapes and that incredible walnut grain doing its thing across the drawer fronts — dramatic, flowing, and just a bit hypnotic if you stare too long.

And then there’s the top…
That dark, almost ebonised finish gives it a moody edge — like it’s dressed up for the evening while the rest of the piece keeps things warm and classic. Bit of contrast, bit of drama… we like that.

The stepped detailing on the sides and base? Pure Deco flair.
The round handles? Just the right amount of ornament without going over the top.

It’s compact, yes — but it doesn’t feel small. It feels purposeful.

Condition

Good vintage condition overall.

There are some signs of age and use, particularly to the top where the darker finish shows some wear — but honestly, it kind of adds to the whole “moody vintage” vibe rather than taking away from it. Structurally solid and drawers run well.

Perfect if you want something that feels a bit more designed than your average chest. Looks great paired with softer textures (linen, wool, neutral tones) or leaned fully into the Deco look with darker, richer interiors.
