A characterful Danish mid-century modern teak coffee table, dating from circa the 1960s–1970s, featuring an inset decorative ceramic tile top and integrated slatted magazine rack.

The tabletop is particularly striking, with a geometric arrangement of warm brown ceramic tiles centred by an ornate cream and grey pattern. The earthy tones work beautifully against the dark teak frame and give the table a distinctive Scandinavian period look.

Below is a useful open slatted magazine rack, incorporated neatly into the frame with sculptural curved rails to the front and rear. Raised side edges and exposed brass-effect fixings add further detail to the construction.

At just 50cm wide, it is a particularly versatile size and could work equally well as a compact coffee table, side table or occasional table.
