A refined mid-century teak dining table by Gordon Russell of Broadway, showcasing the maker’s renowned craftsmanship and understated British modernist design.

 

The table features a beautifully grained teak plank top, with clean lines and elegantly tapered legs that reflect the influence of Scandinavian modernism popular during the mid-20th century. The warm tone and natural grain of the teak give the piece a timeless character that works equally well in classic mid-century interiors or contemporary settings.

 

Originally designed as an extending dining table, the mechanism remains present beneath the top; however, the extension leaf is missing, so the table is currently used in its fixed form. Even so, the proportions make it an excellent dining table for four people, or a stylish desk or studio table.
