Description

A striking mid-century Murano art glass fish, expertly hand-blown in Italy and showcasing the vibrant organic forms that made Murano glass world-renowned. This beautifully sculptural piece features an elegant elongated body with dramatic swirling canes radiating from the mouth, flowing seamlessly into a soft palette of sea greens, cobalt blue, ruby red, amber and white.

The expressive open mouth, textured clear glass fins and abstract internal decoration give the fish a wonderful sense of movement, while the substantial scale makes it an impressive standalone decorative object. Equally at home displayed on a sideboard, shelving or coffee table, it embodies the playful yet sophisticated aesthetic of Italian studio glass from the mid-century period.
