An ingenious Danish mid-century metamorphic teak table that converts from coffee-table height to a practical dining table.

The elevator mechanism raises the top from 53 cm to 71 cm. The top also extends from 56 cm to 88 cm deep while retaining its 135 cm width. Lowered and closed, it works as a generously sized coffee table; raised and extended, it seats approximately four people for dining.

Condition

Good vintage condition overall, with wear consistent with age and previous use. The teak retains an attractive warm colour and grain. The table remains sturdy and the metamorphic configurations are usable.
