This mid century teak table offers a perfect blend of vintage charm and practical design, ideal for elevating your dining space with timeless style. Crafted by A.H. McIntosh & Co. in Scotland during the 1960s, this extending dining table transforms smoothly from a round to an oval shape using its original fold-out leaf, accommodating 4 to 6 people when closed and 6 to 8 when extended. Made from rich solid teak and teak veneer, it showcases solid teak craftsmanship with beautifully tapered legs and softly curved edges influenced by Scandinavian dining table design. The table measures 122 cm in diameter when closed, extends to 168 cm wide, and stands 74 cm tall. Its vintage teak table surface has been professionally cleaned and conditioned to restore its warm tone and natural sheen, ensuring excellent vintage condition with only minor signs of age-related wear. Features and benefits: - Extending dining table mechanism with smooth action → easily adapts to your space needs for everyday meals or entertaining - Solid teak craftsmanship → durable, long-lasting furniture that ages beautifully - Vintage teak table design → adds character and warmth to any kitchen or dining room - Seats 4–6 when round, expands to seat 6–8 when oval → flexible seating for family and guests - Scandinavian dining table influence → minimalist silhouette complements modern and retro dining furniture styles - Tapered legs with refined joinery details → sturdy support combined with elegant aesthetics - Space saving dining table → compact round shape for small spaces, extendable for larger gatherings This classic wood table combines retro dining furniture appeal with practical extendable wood table functionality.
