A striking 1970s Mid Century Modern table lamp combining a rich mustard-orange finish with polished chrome and brushed aluminium details.

The lamp has a fantastic sculptural, almost Space Age / Atomic-era appearance, with its cylindrical orange shade body, contrasting brushed metal front and exposed chrome framework.

A particularly interesting feature is the adjustable articulated mechanism. The lamp head is supported by a chrome arm connected to the central black adjustment joint, allowing the angle and position of the light to be altered for use as a desk, reading or task lamp.

The circular mustard-orange base mirrors the colour of the shade, creating a cohesive design, while the exposed chrome supports give the lamp a distinctly architectural 1970s character.

A great original statement lamp with considerably more personality than a conventional desk light.
