A wonderfully characterful vintage Ferguson tabletop valve radio with a striking blue tuning display and distinctive 1950s–1960s Space Age styling. The angular cabinet, cream controls, metallic trim, fabric speaker grille and metal carrying handles make it an excellent decorative object for a mid-century interior.

The rear is marked Ferguson Radio Corporation Ltd, Enfield, Middlesex, with Thorn electrical branding. This example is sold strictly as a decorative prop or display item. Its electrical operation has not been relied upon and it should be professionally inspected before any attempt is made to connect it to the mains.

A strong choice for a London interior, record room, retail display, photography studio, film set or television prop.
