Chinese Blanc de Chine porcelain Foo Dog, also known as a Chinese guardian lion.
Foo Dogs are mythical lions that traditionally come in pairs and are used as guardians.
They are often placed at entrances to offer protection and ward off evil spirits.
The term "Blanc de Chine" refers to white porcelain made in the Dehua kilns of the Fujian province.
They symbolize power, protection, loyalty, and faithfulness.
