An impressive antique Chinese camphor wood blanket chest, beautifully hand carved throughout with traditional floral motifs and detailed sailing junk scenes to every side. The front, sides and lid feature deeply carved panels depicting traditional Chinese sailing vessels framed by intricate floral borders, while the original decorative brass clasp provides an elegant finishing touch. Condition

Good antique condition with age-related wear, knocks and small surface marks consistent with age and use.
