Two vintage basket-form stools with woven wicker/rattan bases and circular pine tops. The smaller nests beneath the larger and both can also serve as low occasional tables.

A wonderfully unusual pair of vintage wicker and pine stacking stools, combining solid circular timber tops with sculptural woven rattan bases.

Each piece has a low, rounded basket-like form with sweeping woven wicker detailing in contrasting natural tones. The smaller stool nests neatly with the larger, making them particularly useful where space is limited. They work equally well as occasional stools, low side tables, plant stands or decorative bohemian-style accent pieces.

The natural materials and organic shape give them a strong 1970s feel, sitting comfortably within rustic, bohemian, coastal and eclectic interiors.

Condition

Good vintage condition with age-related wear throughout. The pine tops show various marks, scratches and tonal variation consistent with previous use, while the wicker has natural colour variation and some areas of surface wear.
