A superb mid-century dining set designed by Alfred Cox for Heal’s, showcasing the refined craftsmanship and elegant proportions typical of British furniture design from the 1960s.

The table features a striking walnut frame with contrasting rosewood extension leaf, highlighting the rich natural grain and warm tones of the timber. Its clean rectangular form and beautifully tapered legs reflect the understated sophistication associated with Heal’s furniture of the period.

The set is accompanied by six original dining chairs, upholstered in ribbed green fabric and supported by solid wood frames. The chairs have a comfortable high-back design and elegant tapered legs, complementing the table perfectly.

When closed the table provides a generous dining space, and with the extension leaf in place it comfortably accommodates larger gatherings.
