A characterful vintage oak four-drawer filing cabinet, originally designed for compact card, index or records storage and now making a distinctive decorative storage piece.

Each drawer retains period hardware comprising a brass label holder with integrated cup pull and a separate dark metal knob. The warm aged oak and patinated brass create a strong apothecary, library and traditional office aesthetic. Traditional dovetailed drawer construction is visible when opened.

At just 35 cm wide, this is an unusually manageable size for this type of cabinet—ideal for desktop storage, paperwork, photographs, collections or stationery.

Condition

Good vintage condition with genuine age-related character. Surface marks, scratches, colour and finish variation, small knocks and general wear are present, particularly across the top and outer case. Brass fittings have aged patina, tarnishing and discolouration. There is wear around drawer fronts and edges; all four drawers remain present and usable.
